Ginger Snaps

3/4 cups shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cup flour
1/2 teas salt
1/4 cup mollases
3 teasp. baking soda
1 teasp, cinnamon
1 teasp. ginger
1/2 teasp. cloves
Mix shortening sugar and egg beat till incorporated then add dry ingredients
roll in balls then into sugar
bake 350 degrees approx. 10-12 minutes watch burns easy because of molasses These are delicious
